Assoc Prof Angeline Khoo
Angeline Khoo is currently Associate Professor in the Psychological Studies Academic Group, National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University. She has been a tenured staff member since 1990. Before joining the University, she taught in several secondary schools for over 10 years. Her research interests include social identity and self-categorization, delinquency, adolescent sexuality and sexuality education, internet issues and digital gaming. She served as the Chairman of the Education subcommittee of the Parents Advisory Group for the internet (PAGi) for 6 years, and played a key role in the development of its training resources and research. She is also a member of the Films Consultative Panel, and a member of the School Advisory Committee for Zhenghua Secondary School. At present, she heads a team of 12 researchers in a research project on the effects of digital gaming on children and teenagers, which is funded by both the Ministry of Education and Media Development Authority of Singapore.
