Dr Quek Choon Lang Gwendoline is an assistant professor in the Learning Sciences and Technologies Academic Group, National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.Her research areas include: Psycho-socio Classroom Learning Environment, Interdisciplinary curriculum development and implementation, Computer-supported project-based teaching and learning in K-12 schools and Gifted education.

Research Interests: Learning environments, science education and Practicum-related issues in teacher education.

Mrs Shanti Divaharan (BA NUS, PGDE NIE, MEd NIE)

Research Interests: The effects of combining constructivism and computers in a classroom environment and how this affects students’ performance in written English. Factors which motivate students to write in an IT-based classroom environment. Other possible effects of an IT-based English classroom learning environment. Successful teaching and learning strategies in an IT-mediated classroom environment which encourage critical thinking and independent learning among students.
