  1) Game Designers

  • A graduate of a program in game studies or game design, or having two shipped games (commercial or research orientation). Ability to oversee and manage game design, development, and testing.
  2) Programmer

  • Graduates in computer science with robust programming skills. Must have a passion for developing games and/or interactive media applications.
  3) Artist

  • Graduates and diploma holders with skill and experience in both 2D and 3D art. Must be  willing to do low-polygon work and have a passion for developing games and/or interactive media applications.
  4) Sound Engineer/Musician

  11) Research Associate

  Responsibilities:
 
  • Researching, collating, and presenting information related to interactive digital media and new media

  • Preparing and delivering talks related to new media for faculty professional development

  • Defining needs and crafting plans for IDM initiative and implementation of new media projects

  • Establish game lab and assist in training visitors to the lab

  Requirements:
 
  • Degree from a reputable university related to game studies, game design, or new media, preferably at the Masters level
  • Strong understanding of new media
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Good project management skill, preferably with experience
  • Technical competence in media & games development
