Biographical Sketch
 

 

 
Ng Foo Keong is a Research Associate at the Learning Sciences Lab, and a part-time PhD student at the Learning Sciences Academic Group. He is trained in Mathematics and has been teaching Mathematics to school children and tutoring various learners for about a decade before becoming an Instructional Designer and Multimedia Developer at a local software company.Prior to joining LSL, he was a learning objects specialist at the Centre for IT in Education (CITE).He has maintained a strong interest in education and information technology since a very young age, and his diverse background, experience and training makes him at ease with both technical issues as well as pedagogical issues. He hopes to contribute to learning sciences by finding ways to help people make meaningful learning an integral part of their being, using supporting technology where appropriate.
