Biographical Sketch
 

 

 

Dr. Gao Ping is an Assistant Professor in the Learning Sciences and Technologies Academic Group and Learning Sciences Lab at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University (NTU). She had years of teaching experiences firstly as a classroom teacher, and then as a teacher educator for in-service teacher professional development in China. She combined her research interest in teacher education and educational technology into her graduate programs in the United States. When she was previously involved in a US federal grant: Preparing Today’s and Tomorrow’s Teacher for Technology Project at Syracuse University, she played a key role in technology support and program evaluation.  Presently, she is involved in the research projects about preservice teachers’ perspectives on using ICT in the classroom, and inservice teachers’ pedagogical use of ICT in Singapore.
