THE NINTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THINKING

AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND JANUARY 15 - 19, 2001

 

This major international conference will be held in New Zealand for the first time, offering an opportunity to meet leading edge international thinkers and the best of New Zealand thinkers across a number of disciplines.

The overall theme of New Zealand’s Conference in 2001 will be "Breakthroughs". It will focus on new ways of thinking in the seven major conference strands of :

More than 1000 of the world’s most challenging thinkers will be taking part in this Ninth International Conference on Thinking – Auckland, New Zealand 2001.

In addition to Plenary Presenters, there will be forty Featured Presenters – twenty international and twenty from New Zealand. Call for papers will be in early 2000.

    COSTS :

    Conference fee – approx US$ 500, which includes :

     

    ACCOMMODATION :

    Accommodation choices range from the Carlton Hotel (5 star), Sheraton Towers, The Heritage and Novotel hotels (4 star) to a range of smaller hotel venues. Prices range from NZ$ 100 – NZ$185 per night. Room shares can be arranged, halving the cost.
